(ICA) recognized Brad Connors as one of ICA’s top ten representatives at the company’s national conference in Tucson, Ariz. The annual event, held at the J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa from March 14-17, provided an opportunity for attendees to share strategies for developing effective solutions to help clients reach their financial goals and learn how to take their practices to the next level.

“The success of our representatives is driven by their commitment to doing what is right for their clients,” said ICA President Greg Gunderson. “Brad has demonstrated a firm commitment to putting the needs of his clients first and has dedicated substantial time and effort to each client relationship. The theme of this year’s conference, “Your Number – Your Life – Your Plan,” was tied to ICA’s new retirement planning program, “We’ve Got Your Number,” which is designed to provide the company’s representatives with a comprehensive resource to help them meet the lifetime planning needs of their Baby Boomer clients. The program focuses on a relationship development strategy that is intended to help independent advisers become the primary retirement experts in their communities.
“The primary focus for ICA’s representatives in 2007 is to find new ways to meet the evolving needs of their clients as they help them prepare for retirement,” said Gunderson. “There will be 60 million people turning 60 over the next 18 years, and they will depend on experienced financial professionals who can provide the comprehensive advice and support they need to ensure a secure financial future.”
Representatives from many of ICA’s product partners held seminars at the conference designed to educate representatives on various industry topics such as new tax laws, risk management and portfolio diversification techniques. Several of ICA’s top representatives also delivered presentations that recognized the organization’s accomplishments in 2006 and outlined key initiatives and goals for the coming year.
