San Francisco, CA (
PRWEB) January 2, 2007 -- Credit unions seeking a high-value, low-risk, affordable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application now have a solution specifically created to serve their needs. Better Branches announces the release of Better WorkGroups - a module-based software application that uses an innovative approach to standardizing and improving work processes. Better WorkGroups provides host integration, eases the challenge of making process change and helps control service quality and efficiency - all at a reasonable acquisition cost.
Better WorkGroups deploys in a way that minimizes the risk often associated with CRM installations. It accomplishes this by allowing functionality to be added in small, manageable steps. Once the Better WorkGroups base license is installed, credit unions can choose how fast they wish to adopt additional CRM capabilities by choosing when they purchase and deploy function-adding modules. This limits both the financial risk and the staff effort required in any one year. It also minimizes training expense.
The Process Module provides another example of managing CRM implementation risk. This module ensures consistently high levels of service quality by automating and controlling many of the tasks required to serve members (i.e. cancel and re-issue a credit card). Better WorkGroups makes it easy for your staff to adapt to the new CRM work environment, by first implementing processes the way they are currently performed. During this period of adjustment, Better WorkGroups provides reporting on current process effectiveness and allows managers to identify and change only those processes most in need of improvement.
Technically, Better WorkGroups is a strong, yet flexible solution. It is browser based, built on MS.NET technology, and has been architected to integrate with most core processing systems.
According to Better Branches President Rick Poulton, "Better WorkGroups was created in response to service quality discussions with credit union CEOs and IT executives. Although they wanted to deliver high levels of service while improving operational efficiency, those who had not yet implemented CRM solutions were concerned about actually achieving the benefits promised by CRM as well as managing the implementation risk. The consensus was that CRM involved too much cost and effort, and created too much organizational change for many financial institutions with fewer than 500 employees to bear."
Although Better WorkGroups is browser based, the user interface has the look and feel of a highly intuitive Windows application. Tasks are assigned to work groups, and individual users are assigned within these groups. When service events are created, personal tasks appear on the user's to-do list, and service quality can be easily monitored by managers and the system administrator. A basic report suite is available to monitor service quality and aid in task follow up and staff management. Better WorkGroups is designed to support very high levels of service to members and internal customers, while being easy to learn and easy to administer by credit union staff.
Better WorkGroups keeps start-up costs to a minimum with remote assistance from Better Branches technical staff. Most professional services can be provided remotely, reducing the acquisition costs typically associated with CRM installation and deployment. The application may be installed on as few as one or as many as five servers, depending upon the number of users and the credit union's requirement for high availability.
Better WorkGroups has been adopted by SAFE Credit Union in North Highlands, California. Safe is scheduled to complete testing in February, 2005, and will roll out the application to all users by March. Better WorkGroups is available for purchase through Better Branches LLC, a SAFE-sponsored CUSO.
